Rob Youhill played a starring role as Tadcaster Albion ended their mini winless run with an emphatic victory away at Ossett Albion

Tadcaster made the best possible start scoring in the second minute. after Jason Mycoe pounced on a Youhill flick-on.

Ossett came back well from this and equalised in the 13th minute. A ball into the box was cleared to Jimmy Eyles whose shot curled away from the goalkeeper and into the bottom corner.

Just after the half-hour mark Tadcaster were awarded a free-kick on the edge of the box and Conor Sellars put his shot round it and into the goal.

Ossett were more determined in the second half and got back on level terms in the 62nd minute when Eyles fired home from the penalty spot after he had been brought down.

It was then end-to-end football until the 77th minute when Tadcaster made the most of a breakaway and a ball from Youhill was turned into his own net by Oliver Yates.

From then Ossett were chasing the game and Tadcaster made the most of the gaps in the home defence. Youhill’s wonderful first time cross enabled Tom Corner to head home the fourth. Sellars wrapped up the victory in stoppage time.
