There was late disappointment for AFC Emley in the FA Vase, but Farsley Celtic scored a late winner to progress in the FA Trophy.

Emley led until the 82nd minute against unbeaten Toolstation NCEL Premier Division leaders Cleethorpes Town after captain Kieran Ryan had given them a first half lead.

The game had its bad tempered moments as Emley’s Joe Brennan and Cleethorpes’ Liam Davies were sent off following a mass brawl.

Wonder goals in the 82nd and last minute put Cleethorpes into the second round hat.

There was also disappointment for Hallam, Hall Road Rangers and Pickering Town. Hallam lost 4-0 to the holders Morpeth Town, Pickering lost to Shildon and Bottesford Town beat Hall Road Rangers.

Lewis Nightingale’s late goal secured Farsley Celtic a 3-2 win at Barwell.

In the East Riding Senior, Westella lost 4-3 at Hanson Jewellers, while Joel Sutton scored in the last minute to guide Bridlington past Malton & Norton.
