Toolstation NCEL Division One
Star striker Eli Hey is staying at Campion for the rest of the season, despite offers from a number of clubs.
Hey has understandably been attracting huge interest as he is currently the Division One top goal-scorer with 21 goals.
Hey told Non League Yorkshire: “There are has been much speculation and numerous approaches recently to acquire my services.
“Just to let all supporters, staff and team-mates at Campion know and other teams, I am extremely happy here. I’m enjoying my football more than ever and I want to reaffirm my commitment to Campion and thank them for giving me the chance.
“As a team we are aiming high and we want to finish as high as possible in our first season in NCEL.”
The striker was a wanted man in the summer too after scoring 63 times for Halifax Irish in the West Riding County Amateur League.
