Pickering Town have significantly bolstered their promotion-chasing squad with the addition of Eddy Birch from Scarborough Athletic.
Midfielder Birch has solid NCEL experience from spells with Bridlington Town and Hull United. He has also played for Ossett Albion in the Evo Stik.
Birch will have to wait until Saturday’s home game against AFC Mansfield to make his Pickering debut. Tonight’s trip to Retford United was postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
