Halesowen Town 1-2 Frickley Athletic
Hero striker Nathan Valentine fired Frickley Athletic out of the relegation zone with a dramatic and spectacular injury-time winner.
The much-needed victory takes Frickley into 20th and two points ahead of Ilkeston FC in fourth bottom.
Frickley were full value for the three points having caused numerous problems. You could argue that they deserved their half-time lead – given to them by Noel Burdett who capitalised on indecisiveness between Halesowen’s Kyle Morrison and Dan Platt.
Halesowen levelled through Danny Bragoili’s header seven minutes into the second half. That’s how it remained until the third minute of added time.
Former Radcliffe Borough striker Valentine pounced a loose ball and sent a stunning bullet striker into the roof of the net from 25 minutes – cueing scenes of jubilation.
