Second half goals from Brett Agnew, Nicky McNamara and Tom Fleming eased Bridlington Town to their 12th consecutive league victory.

Brid beat Garforth Town 3-0 at Queensgate to stay eight points behind leaders Cleethorpes Town with two games in hand.

Pickering Town, who also have games in hand, continue to lurk. Their latest victory was a 2-1 success against AFC Mansfield – Ryan Blott and Nathan Kamara scored.

Hemsworth Miners Welfare were far more comfortable 5-3 winners against Rainworth Miners Welfare than the score-line suggests.

Sam Jones, Brice Tiani, Richard Collier, Nick Guest and Adam Wilson were on the scoresheet.

Liversedge got back to winning ways with the 5-1 win at crisis club Retford United. Joe Walton (2), Brandon Kane, Gibril Bojang and Tom Brook grabbed ‘Sedge’s goals.

Jon Froggatt and Aaron Moxam hit doubles in Handsworth’s 5-1 defeat of Maltby Main at Sandy Lane.

A last minute penalty meant high-flying Thackley had to settle for a 1-1 draw against struggling Worksop Town.

Parkgate beat Barton Town Old Boys in the other fixture concerning Yorkshire sides.
