David Brown’s decision to return to Ingfield completed a night of fist-pumping for those connected with Ossett Town.
Talisman Danny Frost’s decision to reject Scarborough Athletic’s “substantial offer” and sign a contract was the first key moment.
Then to cap it all off, Ossett’s 2015/16 committee player of the year Brown re-signed for the club after a brief stint with Scarborough Athletic.
Like Frost, Brown enjoys immense popularity with Ossett’s supporters because of his commitment during the club’s successful battle against relegation last season under Grant Black.
