Selby Town took National League big boys Guiseley to a penalty shootout, but unfortunately lost 4-2 after showing brilliant effort to draw 2-2 after 90 minutes.
Guiseley fielded first team players including Adam Boyes, Michael Rankine and Jake Lawlor.
Selby showed character to level the tie in the first half through Jason Crisp after Joel Logan had given Guiseley the lead from the penalty spot.
Selby then went in front from Gary Lumley’s header. But the winning position did not last long as Boyes equalised.
In the shootout, Guiseley won 4-2.
Farsley Celtic eased to a 3-1 win over Glasshoughton Welfare at Throstle Nest.
James Walshaw’s double and Adam Clayton’s goal guided Farsley through. Nathan Keightley scored for Glasshoughton.
Danny Boshell’’s last gasp strike broke Thackley’s hearts as holders Bradford (Park Avenue) claimed a dramatic 1-0 victory.
