Sam Lingard has signed for Selby Town, not Rossington
Garforth Town left-back Sam Lingard has signed for Selby Town, not Rossington Main.
Lingard made his Selby debut in the 4-1 defeat at Pontefract Collieries on Saturday. The signing was rushed through on Saturday morning.
The NCEL site reported that Rossington had captured the former Pickering player, but that was a typing mistake.
Rossington even tweeted that they had signed him. That tweet was later deleted.
