Brett Agnew scored a hat-trick for Bridlington

Non League Yorkshire’s Crawford HR November Player of the Month Brett Agnew took home the match-ball from Bridlington Town’s 5-1 win at Clipstone.

Chris Jenkinson and Nicky McNamara also scored in the win which sets Brid up nicely for the crunch home clash with Cleethorpes Town next Saturday.

Pickering Town needed Eddy Birch’s 75th minute equaliser to draw 2-2 at Staveley Miners Welfare.

Lewis Taylor had put Pickering in front, but Staveley struck twice in the early part of the second half to lead for a period.

Mitch Hamilton’s early red card put Garforth Town on the back foot straightaway against Worksop Town in the controversial 4-1 defeat..

Referee Luke Watson, for the second time this season at the J.S White Community Stadium, faced criticism for a string of decisions.

Hamilton was dismissed for his reaction to Richard Adams’ wild challenge. Adams should have seen red as well, but Garforth did not even get a free kick.

Worksop were already ahead through Leon Loftus at this point and Kyle Jordan soon added the second.

More controversy followed when Watson incredibly awarded Worksop a penalty, despite Jordan clearly falling to the ground without any contact from Miners goalkeeper Paul Hagreen, whose subsequent yellow card added to the furore. Jordan comfortably converted the penalty.

Mark Simpson, a regular nemesis of Worksop’s, was a constant thorn in Worksop’s side and his hard work was rewarded late in the second half when he scored his 14th of the season.

Adam Scott scored Worksop’s fourth goal in the last minute.
