Harrogate Railway’s new defender Sam Denton
Two-time title winner Sam Denton has left Handsworth Parramore to join Harrogate Railway.
The move is timely for Railway, who needed a boost in the defensive areas after conceding seven at Parramore on Saturday.
Denton has huge NCEL pedigree as he won the Premier Division in 2013 with Scarborough before captaining Shaw Lane AFC to the same title in 2015.
He also solid Evo Stik experience from spells at Farsley Celtic, North Ferriby and Guiseley.
Harrogate are in action tonight as they travel to face their greatest manager Paul Marshall’s Pickering Town.
