Joe Danby scored for Pickering
Pickering Town won 3-2 in the first act of the festive double header with fellow title-chasers Bridlington Town.
Joel Sutton gave Bridlington a first half lead, but Pickering hit back through Nick Thompson, Joe Danby and Billy Logan. An Andy Norfolk penalty set up a grandstand finish, but Pickering held on at Queensgate.
Parkgate scored three goals in nine second half minutes as they came from behind to win 3-1 at Garforth Town.
Mark Simpson had given Garforth the lead straight after half-time. But a change in formation for Parkgate completely changed the complexion of the game and the visitors won the contest through goals from Ashley Emmett, Tawanda Rupere and Kieran Hirst.
First goals from Handsworth Parramore from Alex Rippon and Aaron Moxam guided Handsworth Parramore to a 2-1 win over AFC Mansfield.
Liversedge and Athersley Rec finished in a goal-less draw.
