Ossett Town captain Alex Peterson has won the Crawford HR December Player of the Month vote.
In a fiercely-contested vote, Peterson pipped Pickering Town midfielder Eddy Birch and Hall Road Rangers attacker Danny Norton by just a few votes.
Peterson had a great month which goes down as Ossett’s best in some time as Grant Black’s men were joint leaders over Christmas. Peterson actually scored the goal to ensure this happened.
The striker will be presented with his trophy and bottle of red wine at a later date.
The monthly awards are sponsored by Yorkshire-based Crawford HR who offer support to companies on employment law, grievance work, staff training, appraisal preparation, policy updates, employment tribunals, absence management, employment contracts and disciplinary hearings.
