Graham Hodder has tendered his resignation as joint manager of Selby Town, leaving Nigel Emery back in sole control.
Hodder, who managed Selby in 2012, returned to the dugout in September following the departures of Reuben Pearse and Mike Carmody.
Emery and the former Yorkshire Amateur and Glasshoughton Welfare boss masterminded Selby’s nine-match unbeaten run which put them in contention for the play-offs. Their top six hopes have since faded.
“I informed (chairman) Ralph (Pearse) last Friday that due to work commitments I had stepped down as joint manager with immediate effect,” Hodder told Non League Yorkshire.
“The players have been fantastic and I wish them and Nige every success. The chairman, committee and supporters deserve success it’s a great club and I feel honoured to have helped the club.”
Hodder’s long-term comrade Nick Peacock is remaining with the club and will assist Emery going forward.
