Tom Morgan is shaving off his beard
Scarborough Athletic goalkeeper Tom Morgan is shaving his two-year-old beard off to raise funds for a memorial garden for Sonny Brogan-Clark.
Well-known Sonny passed away last year and her friends and family are creating a special place to replace ‘Sonny’s Bridge’ – which will be taken down in the near future.
Morgan said: “Love it or Hate it, my beard has been a big part of me for nearly two years. When Sonny passed away I said to her Mum Anna that I would only shave it off to raise money in the name of Sonny.
“Now that time has come. So for my contribution I am allowing Anna to shave my beard off on the 11th February at Tadcaster Albion FC for this special cause.”
