Andy Ring (centre) scored Penistone’s winner in extra-time
Andy Ring booked Penistone Church’s place in this morning’s quarter-finals draw by scoring in the 118th minute of the epic 3-2 victory over Clipstone.
Church had to fight back twice in normal-time. Lewis Dickinson cancelled out Jacob Lowe’s early strike before Max Curzon appeared to have won it for Clipstone.
Brett Lovell forced extra-time and his fellow former Stocksbridge veteran Ring secured a dramatic win.
Ten man Knaresborough Town lost 3-0 at AFC Mansfield. Ben Parkes was sent off in the first half.
