Liversedge have snapped up Glasshoughton Welfare’s star teenage striker Nathan Keightley.
Keightley, who has been subject to interest from other clubs throughout the season, scored 20 times for Glasshoughton and is rated as one of the best young players in the NCEL.
Jonathan Rimmington told Non League Yorkshire: “He’s a player with massive potential. At his age, to score the amount of goals he has this season is unbelievable.
“I like the way he plays and I think he is going to be a big asset to us. I’m sure we can also develop him further as a player. I believe he has a big, big future in the game and we want to help him fulfil his potential.”
Keightley cannot play for ‘Sedge at Rainworth Miners Welfare tomorrow as he has been called up for West Riding County FA under 18s action.
