Danny Patterson has signed for Maltby
Well-travelled Danny Patterson has left AFC Mansfield and joined Maltby Main.
The midfield general, the brother of Goole AFC player Richard Patterson, has played for a variety of clubs including Handsworth, Ossett Town, Worksop Parramore and Shaw Lane.
Manager Spencer Fearn said: “We are happy with our squad, but when we were made aware of Danny’s availability then we were of course very interested in a player of his quality. He is a winner, committed and a player we all rate highly. Our thanks go to Andrew Saunders at AFC Mansfield for ensuring a smooth and quick completion of the transfer.”
Patterson will be in the squad for the visit of Staveley tomorrow evening along with Richard Adams who has now served a three match suspension. Fearn also welcomes back Jordan Snodin who was not available on Saturday.
