Connor Presley is heading for a trial with FC Dinamo Brest
Nostell Miners Welfare’s American wonder-kid Connor Presley is attending a trial with Belarusian Premier League side FC Dinamo Brest.
The exciting attacker, who belongs to Aspire Pro Sports, is spending a week with Brest in Antalya in Turkey. If he is successful he will go for two weeks of warm weather training in Marbella in Spain.
Bradford City were very keen to progress matters, but recent announcements from the Home Office confirmed they are currently treating all visa Tier 2 & 5 as the same. This would have required Presley to have represented the USA national side in 75% of recent games within a given period.
Presley has been a revelation for Nostell, despite their lowly position – a hat-trick against Eccleshill United was his best moment. He also appeared for Guiseley in the West Riding County Cup – a game at Farsley in which he scored an impressive goal.
