Ossett Town cemented their hold on second place with a brilliant performance at Clitheroe, whose 15-match unbeaten run was ended.
Goals from captain Alex Peterson, Marcus Day and Ashley Jackson ensured that Ossett stay four points behind leaders Lancaster City.
Grant Black’s magnificent team took the lead after just four minutes from Peterson’s header.
As normal, Leigh Overton earned his corn with a number of excellent saves before Day added Ossett’s second with a close range header.
The victory was completed by Jackson, who found the net with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area.
