Hallam 4-0 Campion
New Hallam star Kieran Watson enjoyed an incredible debut as he hit a hat-trick to revitalise his new club’s promotion hopes.
Hallam still have a lot to do, but the victory keeps them in sixth-spot and opens the gap up between them and eighth-placed Campion to five points.
Another ‘new’ face got the show on the road for Hallam. The returning Michael Blythen went round the Campion goalkeeper to open the scoring.
Watson, signed from Clipstone in midweek, then beat the offside trap before going through and scoring.
The home side put the game to bed midway through the second half. Steve Brammer’s through ball allowed Watson to slide it under the goalkeeper for the third goal.
Jed Phillips supplied the fourth goal – his pass allowed Watson to fire into the roof of the net to complete a brilliant day.
