
Glasshoughton Welfare signed Harry Flowers in November and he played in one game
Former Glasshoughton Welfare defender Harry Flowers has been offered a deal with Premier League side Burnley.
Flowers, the grandson of Wolves legend Ron, played one game for Welfare in November – the 4-3 defeat to Teversal.
He moved onto Retford United, but has now had a meteoric rise after having a trial at Burnley. The Staffordshire Newsletter has reported on the story. He also had a trial with Cardiff City.
The 20-year-old has played for a variety of Non League clubs including Sheffield FC and Brocton.
