Farsley Celtic mounted a second half comeback to defeat Glossop North End and claim second place.

With Ossett Town’s clash with Colwyn Bay postponed because of the bad weather, Farsley took full advantage.

Adam Jones gave Glossop their early lead, but the visitors failed to build on it and they collapsed in the second half.

The Celts never looked back from the moment Adam Clayton headed home Ryan Watson’s free kick.

Farsley scored again a minute later with the red hot James Walshaw scoring from the edge of the penalty area.

Jordan Deacey extended the lead before Walshaw wrapped the points up in the closing minutes.

Brighouse Town lost 2-0 at Ramsbottom United, while Goole AFC were beaten by the same scoreline at basement side Burscough.
