Pontefract to tackle mental health

Pontefract Pirates, the adult and junior football club for people with learning difficulties and disabilities which is associated with Pontefract Collieries, is going to be tackling mental health.

The club is holding Mental Wellbeing Football Therapy sessions every Thursday from the 16th March at 12pm until 1.30pm at the Harratts Nissan Stadium, home of the Colls.

The structured and enjoyable football coaching sessions are aimed anyone over the age of 16 who suffers from depression, anxiety or any other mental health condition.

All abilities are welcome.

Each session, run by FA licensed coaches, costs just £3.
