A 3-0 victory over Rossington Main strengthened Penistone Church’s hold on a play-offs spot.
Veterans Andy Ring and Brett Lovell grabbed a goal-a-piece along with young starlet Ben Rhodes, who is dual-registered with Stocksbridge Park Steels.
Penistone also moved to within a point of third-placed Hall Road Rangers.
Selby Town are without a win in six matches after losing 2-1 at Winterton Rangers.
Wayne Brook gave Selby a third-minute lead before new Winterton player/manager Paul Grimes equalised.
Andrew Harrison won it for Winterton on the hour mark.
