Back-to-back wins for resurgent Bridge

Ryan Pleasants ensured Worsbrough’s victory and back-to-back wins for the first time since 2014

Worsbrough Bridge recorded back-to-back victories for the first time since September 2014 with the 3-2 win over Ollerton Town.

The wins over Dronfield Town and Ollerton in the past week have guided Josh Wright’s side to seven points clear of Westella who are second bottom.

Worsbrough were excellent again and raced into a early two goal lead through Rob Oldham and Ricky Popplewell.

Lewis Bingham grabbed a goal for Ollerton on the hour before Ryan Pleasants restored the two goal lead.

Kyle Ludlow ensured tension in the final few minutes.

Nostell Miners Welfare were defeated by a late goal at Brigg Town.
