Calum Ward’s late goal ended Selby Town’s poor run and earned them a shock win over promotion-chasing Hallam.

Ward connected with Jason Crisp’s square ball at the back-post and placed it in the net in the 75th minute, despite defender Micah Bishop’s desperate attempt to stop him.

The victory ended Selby’s six game winless run and has given them a newfound hope of finishing in the top ten.

Rossington Main beat Teversal with goals coming from Shaun Pendleton, Andy McCreadie and Lee Holmes.

Leaders Pontefract Collieries were held to a 1-1 draw with Dronfield Town. Mikey Dunn cancelled out Christian Savage’s opener for Dronfield.
