Sheffield United’s Bramall Lane is to host this season’s Toolstation NCEL League Cup final.
The decision has been taken after a number of clubs suggested that the final should be played at Football League ground.
The last League Cup final to be held at a League ground was the 2014 contest between Knaresborough Town and Eccleshill United which was held at Bradford City’s Valley Parade.
This year’s final, which could involve Bridlington Town, AFC Emley, Penistone Church, Hallam or Glasshoughton Welfare, will take place on Wednesday 17th May, kick off 7.30pm.
As there are no other games taking place that night, hopes are high for a big crowd.
