Godwin Abadaki has made his mark at Shaw Lane
New signing Godwin Abadaki struck the late winner as title-chasing Shaw Lane AFC staged another dramatic comeback to win 3-2 at Romulus.
The night, on the 3g surface, began badly for Shaw Lane as Liam Hailey capitalised on poor defending to put the home side ahead after just 25 seconds.
Kieran Lugsden eventually forced an equaliser for Shaw Lane.with a close range finish.
Romulus did not fold though and Jordan Francis fired them in front again on the hour mark.
Alex Byrne equalised in the 75th minute before Abadaki’s heroics.
Stocksbridge Park Steels lost 1-0 at Carlton Town.
