Thackley left-back Luke O’Brien in action for Shaw Lane last season
Former Bradford City left-back Luke O’Brien earned Thackley a point from the end-to-end 3-3 draw with top five rivals Bridlington Town at Dennyfield.
The result keeps third-placed Bridlington six points ahead of fourth-placed Thackley with a game-in-hand.
Bridlington were leading 2-1 at the break after Joel Sutton and Chris Jenkinson had overturned Matthew Broadley’s opener for Thackley.
Adam Jones equalised in the second half before Tim Taylor put Brid back in front.
That’s how it remained until O’Brien’s 80th minute leveller.
Tom Brook’s goal earned Liversedge a point against AFC Mansfield in the 1-1 draw at Clayborn.
