Jason Yates fired Ossett Town back into the play-offs area by scoring the only goal of a narrow 1-0 win over Colwyn Bay at Ingfield.

The former Hemsworth Miners Welfare captain pounced upon the ball after an in-swinging Ossett free kick was punched down by the Bay goalkeeper on the hour mark.

Bay’s Liam Bartle was then sent off. Ossett were reduced to ten men themselves when Issac Assenso was shown a second yellow card.

Tadcaster Albion were defeated by an early Ryan Winder free kick at Lancaster City.

In Division One South, title-chasing Shaw Lane AFC lost 1-0 at Basford United. The good news was that Rugby Town beat their rivals Witton Albion.

In the Premier Division, Frickley Athletic lost 1-0 to Halesowen Town.
