Title-chasing Shaw Lane AFC cruised back to winning ways by putting four past Loughborough Dynamo in the opening half hour.
Shaw Lane did not mess about as Alex Byrne gave the Ducks a fourth minute lead. Gary Burnett, captain Ryan Qualter and Byrne again ensured the points were won in no time at all.
Stocksbridge Park Steels suffered another blow in their pursuit of the play-offs. The Steels lost 3-0 to Lincoln United at Bracken Moor.
In Division One North, leaders Farsley Celtic were unable to go three points clear of Lancaster City as they lost 4-2 to Clitheroe at Throstle Nest.
An own goal and a Richard Marshall strike were on Farsley’s score-sheet.
Despite Rob Bordman’s opener, Ossett Albion lost 2-1 at Radcliffe Borough.
