Hemsworth left-winger Richard Collier scored twice in the 8-1 win over Harrogate Railway

Hemsworth Miners Welfare heaped more misery on Harrogate Railway, whose afternoon began promisingly, but then disintegrated when goalkeeper Leon Wrigglesworth was sent off.

Railway enjoyed a dream start as captain Steve Bromley converted Lewis Riley’s cross to give them the lead in Fitzwilliam.

Nash Connolly equalised for Hemsworth before Wrigglesworth saw red for a handling outside his area.

Talented winger Richard Collier smashed home the resulting free kick.

The goals really started to flow in the second half. Connolly and Collier grabbed their second goals before Sam Jones finished off Billy Law’s free kick.

Jack Steers, Lloyd Henderson and Law took Hemsworth’s tally to eight.

Three late goals earned Albion Sports a 4-1 win at Bottesford Town. Danny Facey, Alex Cusack, Karl Hall and Ferdinand Annor scored.
