Glasshoughton Welfare are one win away from Bramall Lane after a magnificent quarter-final victory at Hallam.
The Welfare will now visit Penistone Church in April in the semi-finals, bidding to complete a tremendous first campaign under the leadership of Darren Holmes and Lee Vigars.
A leap from Callum Harrison gave Glasshoughton the lead ten minutes before the break.
Glasshoughton goalkeeper Jordan Bradshaw kept out Lee Stevenson’s header straight after half-time.
The visitors then killed their hosts off. Welfare caught Hallam out on the break and Elliott Williams finished off the move.
Williams added his second goal with a near post finish.
Tom Roebuck’s last minute goal was a mere consolation for Hallam, who can now fully focus on their play-offs bid.
