Shaw Lane remain top after Witton drew their game-in-hand. Picture: whiterosephotos.co.uk
The enthralling title race is truly wide open after Spalding United held second-placed Witton Albion to a 2-2 draw last night.
It means Witton have been unable to over-take leaders Shaw Lane AFC with their game-in-hand.
The pair are now level on 87 points with Tuesday night’s crunch fixture in between the two in Barnsley looming. Shaw Lane are still top as they have a superior goals difference.
All could still change this weekend, depending on how Shaw Lane get on at Newcastle Town and Witton at Gresley FC.
