Andy Hawksworth scored in Ossett Town’s victory at Ramsbottom

Ossett Town smashed Ramsbottom United 5-0 to climb into the play-offs with three games to go.

Danny Frost, Andy Hawksworth, Nathan Curtis and Jason Yates, along with an own goal, struck in the stunning away victory.

In-form Scarborough Athletic remain in the fight following the 5-0 battering of Burscough which Jacob Hazel, Cameron Murray, Benny Igeihon (2) and Billy Logan score.

Farsley Celtic stay top of the table because of their 4-0 home win over Radcliffe Borough. An own goal got the ball rolling before Aaron Hardy, Adam Clayton and Lewis Nightingale hit the target.

Ossett Albion lost 4-0 at Droylsden, while Goole AFC were beaten 1-0 at Lancaster City. Tom Corner gave Tadcaster Albion the lead at Colne, but the Brewers lost 4-1.

Frickley Athletic’s hopes of avoiding the drop in the Premier Division continue to diminish after the 3-1 defeat at Skelmersdale United.
