There promises to be plenty of nail-biting today as there are two matches which could have a big say in the final automatic promotion reckoning.

Hall Road Rangers could put one hand on title if they win at Rossington Main in the opening fixture of the third day of the 2017 NCEL GroundHop at 11am.

If they draw or lose, it means AFC Emley could finally secure their elusive promotion from Division One after years of trying if they beat Glasshoughton Welfare (kick off 3pm) at the Welfare Ground in their final game of the season.

A Hall Road and Emley win will mean Darren Hepworth’s men will have to wait until next week to find out if they have been successful with their promotion bid as Hall Road and Pontefract will play their final games.

It is all set up to be a cracker of a day.

In terms of the GroundHop, after Rossington, it moves onto Armthorpe Welfare versus Hemsworth at 2pm and Selby Town’s home clash with Penistone Church at 6pm.

NCEL Easter GroundHop Schedule

Saturday 15th April

Rossington Main v Hall Road Rangers (11am)
