Assistant manager Craig Rouse hailed his and Craig Parry’s Pontefract Collieries players for their stunning comeback at Knaresborough Town.
On the second day of the 2017 NCEL Easter GroundHop, the Colls came back from a half-time deficit to win 5-1 at Manse Lane.
At the interval Pontefract’s automatic promotion hopes looked in ruins.
However, the Colls raised their tempo to a “phenomenal” level and Glyn Cotton (2), Jack Greenough, Luke Jeffs and Kane Reece secured a vital victory.
