Jason Yates, Tyrone Gay and Danny Frost scored as Ossett Town jumped to third with their latest win which boosts their hopes of clinching a play-offs spot.
Ossett still need to win their final two matches as a slip-up would mean they will have to rely on results elsewhere.
Life became easier for Ossett with the dismissal of Prescot’s James Edgar which led to Yates’ opener from the penalty spot on the stroke of half-time.
Gay headed Ossett further in front before Lloyd Dean reduced the deficit.
Fortunately Ossett were able to hold and perennial hero Danny Frost wrapped up the win in the final minute.
