Chris Adams guided Bridlington Town to Bramall Lane with a late goal to down brave AFC Emley.
The tight semi-final tie could have gone either way in the last 20 minutes when Adams struck to book a clash with Penistone Church in mid-May.
Both sides had chances – notably Bridlington’s Jake Day, who raced clear and was denied by goalkeeper Graham McLachlan.
The deadlock was eventually broken by Adams’ header at the back-post – which proved to be the winner.
