Addy and Sidebottom to assist Wright

Rick Addy is the new assistant manager of Worsbrough Bridge

Rick Addy and Dean Sidebottom will assist Josh Wright at Worsbrough Bridge next season.

Despite only advertising the assistant manager’s position on Non League Yorkshire on Monday night, Wright has been inundated with interest in the role.

That’s why Wright has moved quickly to appoint the pair. Former Ossett Town player Addy has been out of the game since leaving his position as joint manager of Yorkshire Amateur last summer.

New coach Sidebottom is a former Worsbrough and Stocksbridge Park Steels player.

Wright told Non League Yorkshire: “I’ve appointed Rick Addy as my assistant and Dean Sidebottom as coach. I’m over the moon with the appointments.

“They were the two outstanding candidates and it is a massive plus to have both on board. I had a fantastic chat with Rick this morning and that led me to knowing it was a no brainer bringing him in.
“He has great experience and knowledge after doing a top job at Yorkshire Amateur.

“Deano also has great experience throughout the Evo Stik and NCEL and he will be a massive character around the dressing room and i know will be brilliant around the squad.

“Things have moved quickly after yesterday’s advert, but i am 100% certain I have made the correct decision. Thank you to Non League Yorkshire for getting my advert out there and for their continued support.”
