The search has started at Harrogate Railway for a new manager – their fourth in a year.

The Railway have endured a tough period on-and-off-the-field, but the club avoided back-to-back relegations. The Rail started the season with Lee Ashforth in charge before Paul Beesley took over.

Beesley quit in February and under 18s manager Ray Green guided them to safety.

The club want applicants to ideally have football management/coaching experience and good player contacts at NCEL level.

Interested parties should send an application/cv to the football secretary David Shepherd by email to Shep@therailfc.com.

The closing date for applying is Sunday 21st May. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will be held as soon as practical after that date.
