New Tadcaster Albion manager Mike Morton has made Rossington Main midfielder Jason Stokes his first new signing.
Stokes, 26 and the son of Rossington chairman Carl, has lots of experience from stints with Gainsborough Trinity, Boston United, North Ferriby, Matlock Town and Ilkeston.
He has appeared for Rossington, who he made his semi-professional at Rossington at the age of 16, for the past two seasons. He also has experience of playing in Australia.
“I am delighted to get this signing over the line” said Morton.
“He can play on both wings as well as a striker. He scores goals, gets assists and I think he will be a fans’ favourite with Taddy.”
