Double award winner Jack Greenhough has agreed to stay on at Pontefract Collieries next season.
The young right-back had a sensational first campaign in semi-professional football, fully meriting the players’ player of the year and supporters’ player of the year awards.
His performances were key as Pontefract recovered from a sticky patch to handle the pressure on the final day when the Colls won at Worsbrough Bridge to win promotion.
He is the second player to commit to the Colls after Vaughan Redford pledged to sign for them on Saturday.
More names are expected to be revealed later this week.
