AFC Emley striker Ash Flynn is joining Yorkshire Amateur

Yorkshire Amateur have made a major coup as lethal AFC Emley striker Ash Flynn has agreed to join them.

The predatory hitman has scored over 100 goals in two seasons and leaves Emley as one of their greatest forwards.

Ammers joint manager Neil Sibson told Non League Yorkshire: “It is an unbelievable signing for us and a real statement of intent.

“It really outlines our ambition for the season ahead and I hope it really encourages other players we want to sign to come and play for the Ammers.”

  1. What is wrong with these clubs, I thought the Anna’s would have lots of local talent I’m shocked as he won’t come cheap very disappointed with clubs but good look to ash an the amas

  2. He has had the opportunity to test himself in a higher league and never does, not being disrespect to ams but this is embarrassing, they must have money to burn.

  3. I am not having what I have just seen on another website with him saying he was so excited about the move, come on it’s about money 100%, someone just told me a massive amount plus goal bonus, why would ash Flynn go to the amas it’s not as if they have been challenging for promotion, why as no evostik club or league above amas go for him , money over ambition comes to mind I think it’s hilarious, but then again they may just buy the league title or it all unravels because of greed. Unsustainable comes to mind as they only get about 30 spectators and they will never get 100s, so some wealthy sponsor or individual paying greedy average footballers what the point.

  4. Wow someone is bitter! Leave it out and let it go! He’s moved on from a team who have failed to gain promotion every year. Without him emley wouldn’t be anywhere near where they have been last 3 seasons anyway. People move on, footballers move on

  5. Rick I totally agree but Alan players should want to test themselves but unfortunately Flynn is a mercenary.

  6. So many people have opinions why people do things and what people should do with their lives. Has anyone thought that Ashley might have been born with a brain of his own and can make his own adult decisions without you guys. It might be convenient for him to play in the geographic location as I’ve heard that he works and may live near Leeds. He may have plans or friends at Ammers. A footballers playing life is short, so let the guy decide for himself without you so called critics trying to live his life him… Rant over…
