Paul Clayton has replaced Mark Smitheringale as the new assistant manager of Knaresborough Town.
Clayton who has left Thackley to move closer to home takes a seat vacated by Smitheringale, who is the new assistant boss at Garforth Town.
Paul Stansfield said: “This is great news for the club that Paulhas decided to join us, he is a UEFA A qualified coach and has done a super job at Thackley last year and Tadcaster Albion before that.
“I can’t wait to start working with him and push the team on this year.”
Knaresborough chairman Peter Plews said: “I am very pleased that Paul Clayton has decided to join us at Knaresborough Town as assistant manager.
“I look forward to working with him next season and welcome him to Knaresborough Town.”
