The most dangerous set-piece taker in the Evo Stik has incredibly agreed to sign for Worsbrough Bridge.

Ossett Albion forward Rob Bordman will be lining up for Josh Wright’s new look Worsbrough side, along with Chris Walton (Wombwell Main).

It is a major coup for Worsbrough as Bordman is the type of player that punters will pay £5 to watch because of  his superb talents.

Tom Guest has also agreed to sign. He played for Worsbrough during their successful escape from relegation.

Wright told Non League Yorkshire: “I’m over moon to announce that we have reached an agreement with Rob Bordman to commit to the club.

“Rob, due to work commitments, is unable to play every Saturday so after a few discussions he has decided to commit to play for us in all midweek games and any Saturdays he can make.

“Obviously this is huge to get a high profile name connected to the club and the attributes he’ll bring to the team go without question.

“One commitment I am really happy with is that of Chris Walton. Wally comes in from Wombwell Main, hes been looked at by a few clubs and he is a player I really rate.

“He’s another all round midfielder, great engine and good on the ball. Without being disrespectful to Wombwell, he could have probably moved up the leagues a few years ago but has been hampered by injuries. Wombwell have been great in allowing him to move on.

“Last one is that of Tom Guest who has committed to us for the season. He’s got great pace and is looking for a season where he can just enjoy playing and getting back to the way he use to play football which I expressed I could give him. All three signings are a massive boost.”
