John Cyrus has returned to Frickley
Spencer Fearn has persuaded another one of Frickley Athletic’s most recent top former players to return to the club.
Centre-back John Cyrus is back at Westfield Lane after a spell at Altrincham.
He was superb under Karl Rose during his first stint at the club. The signing means Frickley already have a strong spine down their side for next season, as Gav Allott has also signed.
“It’s fantastic that a player of John’s quality is re-joining us here at Frickley Athletic,” said Fearn.
“Very much like Gavin he had offers from higher up the pyramid and has chosen Westfield Lane to play his football next season. He’s a very popular player at our club and it will be great to see him in a Frickley shirt again.”
