Harrogate Railway have gone back to the future by appointing former captain Liam Gray as their new manager.
Local lad Gray has a wealth of playing experience from spells with the likes of Railway, Farsley Celtic and Knaresborough Town.
Ray Green, who bravely stepped into the breach in February and saved Railway from relegation, is his assistant.
Denis Metcalf Jr will be also on the coaching staff. Metcalf Jr, the son of legendary former Farsley and Railway boss Denis Sr, previously had a stint as caretaker manager at Railway in 2011.
Former player Lee Ryan will also support the trio.
