Toolstation NCEL Division One
Yorkshire Amateur have signalled their ambitions again by revealing that Leon Henry is the latest high profile figure heading to Bracken Edge.
Henry has agreed to drop two Divisions to join the ambitious Ammers, over a week since Ash Flynn left AFC Emley to join the Ammers, along with Graham McLachlan. Steve Mallory, Harrison Blakey and Brice Tiani have also joined the club.
The former title-winning Brighouse Town captain leaves Ossett Town and is likely to be a huge player for the Leeds-based side next season because of all of his experience.
One of his greatest moments was the title-clinching goal for Brighouse in 2014 against Retford United.
Joint manager Neil Sibson told Non League Yorkshire: “Leon coming in is another major signing for us.
“He has been fantastic player for a few local teams over the past few years. He’s also got the experience of winning the Premier Division title so he’s going to be massive for us.”
